Ways to Connect at Peace
As a growing congregation, we recognize the need is great for a broad range of ways to get acquainted with and connected to your church family. Check out these easy ways to connect at Peace:
Men's Bible Study gathers at Peace every Thursday morning at 7:00 for coffee, pastries, and time in God’s Word. Curriculum and discussion allow for participation as your schedule allows. Facilitator contact: John Anderson 320.597.3339.
Women's Morning Bible Study gathers at Peace on Wednesday mornings at 8:00. Facilitator contact: Betty Anderson 612.730.8987.
Women's Afternoon Bible Study gathers at Peace at 1:30 on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Facilitator contact: Toots Bakken 320.492.5738.
Family Fun Nite! is a monthly fellowship event (offered during the school year). The themed events are held at Peace or somewhere in the community to allow familes to come together as a larger family of Christ, enjoy games, and share a meal. Facilitator contact: Amy Leither 320.309.8107.
Adult Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM (Sep-May) and performs monthly on Sunday mornings during worship. Facilitator contact: Amanda Culver 320.223.9997.
POPs (Primetimers of Peace) POPs meets April through October. Members are near retirement, semi-retired, or fully-retired. We average 30-40 participants at events, and new members are ALWAYS welcome. POPs gatherings are monthly on the third Thursday, typically beginning at 5:00 PM. Facilitator contact: Carol Fjelsta 320.597.3515.
ROMEOs (Retired Old Men Eating Out) If you fit the description, you are welcome to join them! ROMEOs meets for breakfast on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month (think: "2-by-4") at 8:30 AM in Cold Spring and neighboring communities. ROMEOs averages 20+ participants. High School Youth Group gathers every Wednesday evening throughout the school year from 7-8:30 PM in the Youth Room at Peace. Facilitator contact: Amy Leither 320.309.8107.
